English meaning: “Learn thoroughly whatever you learn; and having learnt, live in accordance with what you have learned.”
Education is the foundation upon which individuals, institutions and societies build a better future. At Arulmigu Kapaleeshwarar Arts and Science College, we believe that education is not merely the acquisition of knowledge, but a transformative journey that develops character, creativity, confidence, compassion and a sense of responsibility.
The profound words of Swami Vivekananda remind us that true education brings out the inherent potential within every learner. Education should empower young minds to think independently, face challenges with courage, embrace innovation and contribute meaningfully to society.
Similarly, Thiruvalluvar, through the timeless wisdom of the Thirukkural, emphasizes that learning becomes meaningful only when knowledge is translated into right conduct and purposeful action. Thus, our educational vision extends beyond classrooms and examinations. We strive to nurture responsible citizens who combine knowledge with values, competence with compassion, and ambition with social responsibility.
